Ethylene Pipeline System

PetroLogistics' principal ethylene distribution system is an open access system consisting of approximately 80 miles of pipelines situated along the Mississippi River industrial corridor extending from the Baton Rouge area in the north to the Convent area in the south as well as a lateral south of Choctaw to Shintech. The system has 19 existing interconnections with consumers and producers of ethylene. In addition, through interconnections with pipeline systems owned by ChevronTexaco, Dow and Shell the PetroLogistics system links ethylene producers in Texas and the Lake Charles area to the Mississippi River Corridor as well.

PetroLogistics also owns a 7 mile ethylene pipeline connecting the company's salt dome storage facilities at Sulphur, La. to Sasol's chemical complex in Westlake, La., and a currently idle 8 mile pipeline extending from Sulphur to the petrochemical facilities near the Citgo refinery in Lake Charles.
